The Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels (the Office) invites members of the press to a briefing with Ukrainian NGO “Europe without Barriers”.
“Europe without Barriers” is an active Ukrainian think tank, working for many years on the topic of visa liberalization between Ukraine and the EU.
They conducted the study: "How does Ukraine's visa-free regime perspective is perceived by the relevant EU Member States stakeholders”. The study is based on interviews with high-ranking officials and experts from Sweden, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Netherlands and France during June-September 2015.
During the briefing, the experts will address the following questions about visa liberalisation between the EU and Ukraine:
• What worries Europeans the most?
• Which are the main risks?
• What is the current situation with the implementation of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan?
• What has been the influence of the conflict in the East of Ukraine?
• Which EU countries support Ukraine’s visa liberalisation ambitions?
• Which countries are neutral?
The study is particularly timely, coming two weeks ahead of the European Commission’s report on Ukraine’s implementation of the Action Plan on Visa Liberalisation. Please, see previous reports here.
