Programme of events for the 2016 Belgian National Day

On the occasion of the National Day on 21 July this year, the FPS Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Defence, the FPS Home Affairs, and the Federal and Local Police, in close collaboration with the Syndicat d’initiative Bruxelles Promotion, organise a series of events in Brussels for the general public. The objective is to turn this Belgian National Day into a great popular event, giving all citizens the opportunity to share in a festive moment in the heart of the capital.

On 20 and 21 July 2016, the federal authorities are organising multiple events to celebrate the National Day. The press is invited to a press conference that is taking place coming Monday 4 July, during which the various organisers of the federal authorities will present the programme.
